The first of several star blocks using Maywood fabric's Folk Art Fancies as centers. The pattern is from a Fons and Porter magazine.

The plain blocks seemed a little, well, plain. So, I decided to use a few other fabrics. It seemed to add some depth.

Punchneedle

This is a little punchneedle piece I started some time ago. The rest of the red background still needs to be completed.

Punchneedle is worked from the back, so this is the side you see when doing the actual 'punching'.

Log Cabin Wall Hanging

This wall hanging is really not a true WIP, as I finished it a few years ago. I like the combination of piecing and applique.

Christmas wall hanging

Here is the center of a wall hanging and a coordinating pillow. The red borders on the pillow are also used on the wall hanging. The pattern came from a McCall's quilting magazine a couple years ago. Both pieces are waiting to be quilted.
